RENOVATING –
When renovating an existing home, it can be difficult – where do you start, or stop?
If you are renovating part of your existing home it really comes down to what parts you are wanting to update. Many of my clients are only changing one element, such as updating the flooring, interior colours or kitchen. This can make the process of renovating tricky as the newer finishes need to blend with the rest of the home. This is where I excel. I love finding creative ways to marry the old with the new & make it all look consistent.
I can help with selecting finishes which are part of the house, such as flooring, lighting, interior & exterior paint colours, window coverings, Kitchen, Bathroom & Laundry finishes & fixtures. And can also assist with the selection of furniture & decor items, layouts & design ideas.
For these types of renovations, I highly recommend an appointment in the home to talk through what you want to create. I can then work within the restrictions to find finishes & solutions to make it all blend perfectly. If desired this may include scaled drawings of the areas of the home to ensure fixtures will all fit, such as a bathroom renovation. As well as perspective drawings to show how the whole room will look afterwards.
During the one consultation, quite a lot of the time I can see quick fixes which you may have never considered. These can make all the difference to how you use or enjoy your home.
